Dominic Louks joins our team, as Skills for Justice’s Corporate Membership Manager. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to the development of an improved and sustainable workforce across the UK’s Justice, Fire and Rescue, Local Government and Armed Forces sectors.

Dominic joins the growing team here at Skills for Justice, to support and develop our growing Membership programme, working closely with existing members and those looking to join the community. Dominic will be working closely with the Skills for Justice Workforce Development and Research Divisions, as well as supporting Members with our Leadership and Organisational Development programme.

Dominic has previously worked for the Fire Protection Association (FPA) for 14 years. The FPA is a membership body supporting commerce and industry on fire safety practices, techniques and lobbying for improved safety standards. Having joined the FPA as Marketing Manager, in 2013 Dominic moved across to RISCAuthority, an insurer property research scheme administered by FPA. During this time Dominic acted as the main focal point for member insurers, reporting on scheme project activity, outputs and communications. He was then promoted to Head of Membership Services in 2016.

Prior to joining FPA, Dominic worked in the security industry for Cooper Security, managing the membership loyalty programmes for both the Scantronic and Menvier brands, after which he joined Chartered Institute of Environmental Health as Marketing Officer specialising in health and safety publishing and copy editing. Prior to joining our team here at Skills for Justice, Dominic worked for IABM, the international broadcast and media technology association, working for their members on a global events and content programme.

I look forward to meeting with as many of our members as possible, learning more about the wider Justice sector, and developing key relationships.” Dominic concluded.
