One of our workforce specialists, Cat Smith, will take you through the core concepts that can help you embed evidence-based practice into your own ways of working.
Cat Smith is a workforce specialist with extensive experience in leading and conducting evidence-based research, analysis, and evaluation in the public sector, including in the MOD, Acas and the Department of Health and Social Care, in support of both strategic workforce policy and operational delivery. Cat has been part of our workforce development team since December 2023 and has been a key asset on many of our recent projects, including:
- Summative evaluation of West Yorkshire Anti-Social Behaviour Immediate Justice pilot. Read case study →
- Working with Network Rail to deliver a model for ‘signallers’ nationally, to ensure stable future pipelines to deliver a deployable, skilled and capable workforce.
- Chartered Society for Physiotherapy (CSP) mixed methods research on the experience, delivery and impact of the apprenticeship pathway, to develop evidence-based recommendations to further improve and strengthen this pathway.
