ISO27001 success for Workforce Development Trust
Date 17.09.19
Clients of Skills for Justice are able to work with us safe in the knowledge that we protect their data, after we recently became ISO27001 certified.
After many months of hard work to ensure our processes met the required standard, the Workforce Development Trust recently passed its information security audit by a UKAS Accredited Auditor.
This means that our Information Security Management System has achieved the required ISO27001 standard.
Paul Walker, Chief Technical Officer at the Workforce Development Trust which manages Skills for Justice/Skills for Health/SFJ Awards/NSAH, said: “This is great news. Being ISO27001 certified is a sign to clients and employees that we care about their information. It also means that we take the necessary precautions to ensure we protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their data.
Achieving ISO27001 certification is a by-product of good working practices and means we can have greater confidence in the way we handle data. The organisation will undergo regular audits by a UKAS Accredited Auditor to ensure we are maintaining and continually improving our standards.”
