Carmen Costa is the Community Projects Coordinator at RJ4All. She coordinates the centre’s core poverty relief projects by strategically organising the required resources, capacities, trainings, and logistics for their delivery. These projects range from digital inclusion and accessible fitness services to community wellbeing and cooking activities. She has a demonstrated history of working in the overlaps of the education, justice and non-profit sectors. Previous experience includes educating self-representing litigants as a public family law paralegal, creating and teaching specialised English curriculum as an ESOL Instructor, and empowering young people with special needs as a sports counsellor. As such she is particularly passionate about community projects which support and empower marginalised groups to attain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to address their daily challenges, seek remedies for issues, and participate more fully in civic life. She holds a Master’s in Education and International Development from UCL and a Certification to Teach English as a Foreign Language.
