National protective security leader contributing to the standards underpinning Martyn’s Law

George Trebess is a nationally recognised protective security expert with more than 30 years’ experience across counter-terrorism, aviation security and risk governance. A Chartered Security Professional and Fellow of The Security Institute, he has worked extensively with government, regulators and industry to strengthen national protective security capability.

He previously served as a Senior Protective Security Coordinator with the Metropolitan Police and has contributed directly to the development of national standards underpinning Martyn’s Law. He specialises in translating complex threat and policy requirements into practical security planning, training and professional assessment.
