Helen is a leadership and organisational consultant, coach, educator and researcher who works with individuals, teams and organisations.
She uses a systems-psychodynamic approach to work alongside people to find creative ways of approaching working life challenges so that individuals, teams and organisations can thrive. She supports open and collaborative working cultures where diversity and complexity can be embraced. She led a human rights charity between 1994 and 2015, navigating complex and challenging political and legal milieu to bring about lasting changes to practice and policy.
With Board level experience in both the public and voluntary sector, she integrates a wealth of operational and strategic expertise to her consultancy practice. She is passionate about confronting discrimination and has a longstanding interest in and commitment to creating structures and pathways that enable marginalised people to speak directly to those at the heart of the policymaking and political process.
Helen is an associate consultant Tavistock Consulting and a certified Analytic Network Coach. She is a portfolio manager for Social Care, Leadership and Management in the Department of Education and Training at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust and leads the module on consulting and leading organisations for the MA in Consulting and Leading in Organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches.
