West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) commissioned The Workforce Development Trust (a charity organisation which includes evaluation experts Skills for Justice) to deliver an independent evaluation of the Immediate Justice Programme, using industry leading qualitative and quantitative methods. This project was successfully delivered in October 2024.
What we do - Case study
West Yorkshire Combined Authority – Evaluating anti-social behaviour interventions

A number of insights and recommendations were identified, including opportunities to complete a summative evaluation, and undertake advanced statistical work (such as logistical regressions) to determine which variables are most important in anticipating completions. These activities are aimed at creating a strong framework for measuring outcomes for Immediate Justice, and future work directed at tackling anti-social behaviour. This secondary phase of research is currently underway.
Our approach:
- We will combine qualitative and quantitative activities to build on Phase 1 and develop further insight and analysis
- We will develop an evaluation report that incorporates highlighted areas of good practice, the legacy and impact of the programme, key considerations and requirements for future programmes, a framework for measuring outcomes.
